Where KillCountAI is different
Built for the range, not just the phone
KillCountAI is offline-first. You can score a full round in the middle of a remote range with no signal, then sync when you are back online. Paper scorecard capture lets you photograph an old card and pull the numbers in, so your history is not trapped in notebooks.
Disciplines you actually shoot
Beyond Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays, KillCountAI supports Compak Sporting and English Sporting Doubles — the formats common in many clay target competitions and Commonwealth shoots.
Connected to clubs and coaches
Your scores can feed into club competitions, classification averages and coach assignments. A private coach can see only their athletes; a club admin sees their members. You stay in control of what you share.
Motivation, not just data
Streaks, badges, weekly goals and squad challenges turn practice into momentum. The journal ties every round to notes, weather and equipment so you can see what actually changes your scores over time.
Other apps we looked at
Clay Scores offers live session scoring with haptic feedback for Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays, including Skeet doubles. We did not find public evidence of club, coach or offline workflows.
ClayTrainer logs rounds shot-by-shot offline and breaks down which stations cost you targets. At the time of writing it was listed as "coming soon to Google Play," so it appears iOS-first.
ClaySmasher is a newer iOS tracker focused on improvement; public details were limited when we reviewed it.

- Yes. There is a free tier for individual scoring and improvement. KillCountAI Pro unlocks deeper analytics, journals and club-connected features for $15/month or $150/year.
- Does KillCountAI work offline?
- Yes. The app is built offline-first. Rounds scored without signal are stored on your device and synced automatically when you reconnect.
- Can I use KillCountAI with my club?
- Yes. Once your club is on ProShot Club Management, you can claim your membership record and your competition scores, classifications and badges flow into the club system.
- How does KillCountAI compare to a native app from the App Store?
- KillCountAI installs as a progressive web app (PWA) from your browser. It launches full-screen, works offline, and updates without an App Store review, but it is not distributed through the App Store or Google Play.
